Eco Fabulous (and Cosy)
Our evenings are starting to have that subtle, sweet crispness, and in the mornings, the air smells so faintly of leaves you can’t be sure the scent is there, which means only one thing – Fall is on its way!
If you’re planning a fall wedding, that nip in the air is a reminder to consider a little something to warm you up when you’re not on the dance floor. A wrap, caplet, or bolero is a great option, and eco-friendly versions abound.
Additionally, choosing one in a fabric contrasting with your gown will extend its versatility beyond your wedding day, adding to its eco-fabulousness. We found some really great new and vintage options to get you inspired!

Behind the Scenes of the Cover
We have gotten such rave reviews and great news from our cover shoot – I knew right away that I needed to do an extensive post on going behind the scenes of the cover!
Emily Nolan, our beautiful model, did such a fantastic job that she landed a contract that long after the issue went live for modeling! The agency loved her work from this shoot so much! So we want to give a very big shout out to everyone who made it work that day:
Jennifer Domenick – Photography
Robin Fisher - Styling
Giselle Chreky – Hair
Jeff Enriquez – Make-up
Just love the back of this dress – which you never see in the photos in the magazine!
Emily did such a fantastic job and I know Claire Pettibone loved her in these dresses! Claire Pettibone is all about making a bride feel sexy and feminine!
Many blessings to Emily on landing her contract and be sure to check out the entire Fall 2010 Cover Spread by clicking here!

Here Come The Kids Part III
I wanted to have quick recap of some of the images that Stephanie (of Couture Parties) submitted for the article – but did not actually make it. They only reason these images did not make the article is that we just plain ran out of room!!! I love the above photo that is perfect for children at wedings. Natural potato and sweet potato French Fries are always hit with kids (and adults).
Totally diggin’ these Flower Wands from Maihair - imagine all the color possibililities for your flower girl!
I am a sucker for a little ring bearer in a bow tie! These bows from Baby by Stevie are adorable! They also have neck ties!
Thanks again to Stephanie Frazier Grimm from Couture Parties for the amazing amount of work that she did for the article and gathering information!
Have a great weekend!

Here Come The Kids Part II
Coming back to the Here Come The Kids! article from the Fall 2010 Issue by Stephanie Frazier Grimm and Amy Ro Photography, I wanted to show a few more images that did not make the article. I love this landscape view of the table above!
All of the elements from the centerpiece are from The Groovy Gator. Only you will know what age group the children will be at your wedding – so be sure to use eco-friendly toys for each!
Check out the article to see how to make your own play-dough from eco-friendly materials! Stephanie – you are a genius!
Stay tuned for the last installment in this series about the items that did not actually make the article but are still just as adorable!
