When a dress speaks

This weekend my sister came into town and we went shopping for a wedding dress.  I had tried on a couple dresses in the past so I had a bit of an idea of what I wanted.  The first store we went to failed to write down my appointment, so they allowed my sister and I to walk around the store, pull the dresses we liked and go ahead and try them on.  Neither of us had a problem with this scenario.

After a caffeine run, we hit up Hannelore’s.  The lady helping us was so nice.  I originally made an appointment here because I wanted to try out their Jenny Yoo dresses, but it was 2 other dresses that stole my heart.  It’s amazing how you can put on a dress and you can say “Yup, thats the one”.  Then anything you put on after it, just doesn’t do it for you.  I had another appointment after and some of the dresses were nice, but they just were not it.  I felt bad because I could not explain to the sales lady why I did not like them, but none of them reallyconnected with my personallity in the right way.   Let’s just say I was at a loss for words!

Here are the advertised pictures of the 2 dresses that I liked.  As you can see they are completely different from eachother, but I have many different sides to my personality too!

Romona

Above is a Fall 2009 Romona Keveza Dress.  The bottom  right picture is the short version of the dress, I like it for the color.

Polomo

This dress is a Paloma Blanca Dress.  I would go for the fabric flowers instead of the broach in thr front to soften it up.
