  1. This is a fantastic tote. And its a great way for me to continue to be green by toting around everything I need in a tote and not a plastic bag.

  2. I’m going green by recycling everything I can and using cloth napkins.

  3. I REUSE SOCKS WITH HOLES AS REUSABLE CLEANING RAGS INSTEAD OF WASTING PAPER TOWELS.

  4. Kaitlyn Lehman says:

I don’t do dishes until I have enough to justify using a sinkful of water. (I do rinse them so they don’t smell though!) :)

  5. Sandy says:

I thrift as many items as I can, or buy secondhand on eBay. this is a fabulous bag! I would love to have it!

  6. myosots says:

this looks gorgeous. i travel with public transportation while going to college every day. and i carry reusable nets when going to shopping rather than plastic bags.

  7. i garbage pick! people throw away some really nice furniture that simply needs a little TLC to revive.

  8. Krissy says:

I recycle. Our family uses flour sack cloths instead of paper towels. We compost for our own organic garden. It is not easy but making even small efforts helps.

  9. My fiance and I are using a website and emails to send out invites. It will cut down our carbon footprint AND save us money (which we can put towards our open bar of organic wine and beer). Happy New Year everyone and happy wedding planning!

  10. Megan says:

The biggest way I’ve gone green is to follow a vegan diet, best thing you can do for yourself and the earth!

  11. filling up a cup of water instead of using water bottles. it does take an extra minute, but it’s less expensive and much much better for the environment.

  12. I’m going green by taking shorter showers, saving both water and energy. Hot showers are my downfall, but I know this makes a big difference in my energy bills and for the environment.

  13. I always carry my reusable bag, we work on recycling what we can, and reusing when possible.

  14. I read a lot so use get books from Library instead of buying new them. And with The Nook I received from Santa I can download them.

  15. I do my best to buy eco-friendly products; loving Maggie Bags right now. I also have initiated several eco-fundraisers at the school I teach at (TerraCycle, computer recycling, plastic bottle recycling). I recycle at home and do my best not to purchase items that do not have recyclable packaging, no one use water bottles. I do not use single use products like plastic baggies and paper lunch bags, we are using snack-taxi bags and kids konserve. I have also assigned my students with an ecology assignment; they are to find a way they can positively impact our environment and encourage others to do so as well.

  16. Amber W. says:

How am I going green? Gosh, where do I begin. I don’t ever consider myself “green”, but I do consider what I do to be helpful.
-Wrapped Christmas gifts in comics from my parent’s newspapers instead of using wrapping paper. I also save tissue paper, holiday bags, and bows from the gifts that are given to me – I use them again with a little bit of tape.
-Reuse plastic bags I get from shopping purchases as mini-trash can bags, recyclable items bags, or just recycle the bags themselves
-I don’t run the dishwasher or laundry until I have full loads
-I literally recycle every item I can – even pulling items out of the trash that my fiance throws away :-)
-Repurposing my clothing by giving it to Goodwill or giving it to family members (We like to trade clothes when we are tired of our own!)
-Using our dog’s dirty ‘water bowl’ water to feed the plants

I’m sure there are others, but those are the few that I can think of off the top of my head. :-)
