Wood – Keeping it Natural
Keep a classic natural touch to your wedding by looking at wood!
You can use natural wood for many different parts of a wedding (think decor and accents along with your wedding rings). Best of all – wood matches almost any color scheme!
We love this tag that we found on Etsy from LittleWeeShop as a beautiful way to have your ring bearer bring the rings down the aisle or you can use it for a seating chart, table numbers, coasters, and so much more!
Then wood can be used for all sorts of signage – which has become increasingly popular with the backyard-style wedding. Don’t just hop on over to Home Depot – use scrap pieces of wood to make your own reclaimed wood sign! All you need is some wood stain and some acrylic paint to make it your own!
Then – let’t go back to Etsy again for this Darlin’ Wooden Bunting Flag from Bliss In A Teacup!
What are you using with wood for your wedding?

Very nice! Hopefully people will use discarded wood or wood from trees that grow rapidly and are therefore more sustainable. Thanks for the great ideas … and happy holidays!

Thanks for including my ring pillow! My husband & I had an eco-friendly wedding on a tight budget which inspired the items in my shop. Thanks for spreading the word & inspiring brides to go Green.

Jennifer – We just love this ring pillow – it is gorgeous!
I absolutely agree that wood is one of the best ways to keep a wedding natural. Think of all the outside weddings performed near or under a stately tree. Wood is warm and homey and good.
I can’t believe what imagination you people have…wood for decor
