Planning a Winter Wedding
Winter brides and grooms have oh so many options when it comes to their wedding celebrations!
The Dress
Depending on what part of the world you’re in, a winter wedding gown can be strapless or sleeved, full-skirted or fitted, or anything in between. Traditional winter gowns are often made of luxe, heavy fabrics designed to envelop the bride as she treks through a winter wonderland. Think sparkle and gorgeous embellishments!
The Décor
Traditional winter white or holiday-themed décor is always an option, but so are alternate color palettes that include rich colors like navy, charcoal, or hues of red. Décor that features tons of beautiful crystals or accents of silver or gold can create an ethereal winter setting. Beautiful white florals against any of these colors are just beautiful!
The Menu
Winter weddings are perfect for those decadent comfort foods that we don’t feel as guilty about eating during the winter months. Acclaimed caterer Main Event Catering offers menu items such as Black Truffled Purple Peruvian Potato Soup and White Truffle Whipped Mashed Potatoes as options for winter wedding celebrations. Yum!
Regardless of your winter wedding style, start and end your celebration with a warm cocktail, and have a fab time!
