Helene + Matt’s Spring Wedding at Pleasantdale Chateau

Pleasantdale Cheateau West Orange New Jersey Wedding

Wouldn’t you love to be able to say – “Oh yes – I had my wedding at a Chateau!’?  Well – you can – right in New Jersey!

We were thrilled to see this submission from Rita Rojas-Sullivan Photography showcasing just a beautiful and simple wedding set at the Pleasantdale Chateau.

Badgley Mischka Shoes

Before I go into how this event was eco-friendly – again – we have some wonderful shoes.  Had to show the shoes first which are just so yummy.  We are hoping Helene wears them again or passes them on to another lucky bride as something borrowed!

Bridal bouquet with orchids and calla lilies

This gorgeous bridal bouquet was created by veteran floral designers Marquis Florals & Event Design by Kim.  Kim Lovitt, who is the head designer, is an active volunteer in her community and gives back to several local charities.  (ASK WHAT YOUR FLORIST IS DOING FOR THEIR COMMUNITY!)

Pleasantdale Chateau Wedding Ceremony

Just a stunning ceremony arch by Marquis on the beautiful grounds of Pleasantdale!!!

New Jersey Wedding at Pleasantdale

Pleasantdale Chateau is home to the Pleasantdale Farm which produces thousands of pounds of produce every year (pesticide-free).  They are also home to an apiary!  The Chateau has its own restaurant and uses its own produce and flowers from  their farm for events and weddings!

  6. Cannot believe this took place in NJ. I would have believed it to be a French Wedding… lovely location and great looking couple.

  7. Loved the photos. The one with the couple kissing near the red door is absolute classic.
