Groomed
Weddings are about grooms, too!
Just like you, he wants to look (and feel) his best on your wedding day. Though he might never admit it, your gent wants to be the most debonair groom around. So, tell him to follow the same golden shopping rule for brides:
Be yourself. Just a little (or a lot) fancier.
That means if he’s quirky, choose a suit or accessories (like a cool hat) to show off his style. Or, if he’s a classic kind of guy, select something that suits his gentlemanly palate. Then there are the things that no groom should be without: a chic watch, well-fitted clothes, and a big smile.
The best thing about your guy wearing what he loves? It’s the likelihood he’ll wear it all again! Which means that suit, shirt or snappy bow tie will get trotted out again on another special occasion, making your sweetie’s look dashingly green!

Go Green in Minneapolis!
We love this styled shoot sent to us from a group of green wedding professionals in Minneapolis! It’s perfect timing since Minneapolis was recently named one of the greenest cities in the US!
With a coral and grey theme mixed in with some polkadot action – this team served up some serious Eco-Beautiful Style!
We love that they incorporated a groomsman as so many styled shoots only show a groom! Love the ties and lapel flowers!
Eco-forward thinkers in Minneapolis have a bike share program and they incorporated one of the bikes into the shoot! LOVE IT! A MUST DO if your city has this program! Encourage your fun-loving guests to ride to the wedding in eco-style!
While the reception was catered by a sustainable chef, the sweet tooths in us could resist focusing on the sweet treats they whipped up!!!
We are in love!!!

Green Groom’s Guide to Style
Just like brides, grooms have a personal style too! We think its totally cool when green groom’s embrace bold colors and other non-traditional elements (like Chuck Taylors and striped socks!) into their wedding day ensemble. After all, it’s about them too!
This issue’s Green Groom’s Guide focuses on fashion! Kara Horner of The Man Registry shares the goods on the latest in aisle style for the groom, and offers some fun suggestions to get the guys eco-handsome for the big day!

Vested
A vest is without question just as dapper as a suit, and maybe even more versatile. When a vest alone is not fancy enough, add a coat and, voila! Your man is properly attired, charmingly old school and ceremony-ready. Later when he’s on the dance floor, coat nowhere to be found, Mr. Right will still be debonair…even while doing The Robot.
What makes it green? After the wedding, and even on your honeymoon, he can wear his suit and vest again (and again), separately or together.
