We love this intimate wedding at on Mackinac Island, Michigan submitted to us by Paul Retherford!  One of the easiest ways to keep your wedding eco-friendly is to keep it small!  They only had 24 guests!

Mackinac Island Intimate Wedding

The beautiful wedding ceremony and reception were held historic Island House Hotel.  Their simple and beautiful floral designs were designed by Weber’s Floral Design!

Eco-chic Mackinac Island Wedding

Using reusable candles made with seashells for centerpieces were an easy, simple and low impact decor item for their eco-chic wedding.  The bride and groom were whisked away at the end by the island’s beautiful Gough Carriages!

  2. I love this! I grew up in Michigan and I love how they did the seashell + starfish thing! I wonder if they gave out Mackinac fudge for favors?!

  4. Sometimes it’s easiest to keep it simple and small . . . the intimate ceremony and gorgeous setting made for some beautiful pictures. The beach theme centerpieces are lovely, too!
