Earth Day Love: Plant a Tree with Honest Tea and Arbor Day!

Where would the earth be without trees? Trees help to conserve energy, reduce air conditioning costs and help to fight climate change. In addition to all of those wonderful things, they are just plain pretty!

Trees serve as a symbol of life all over our nation’s landscape. And that’s why we need as many of them as possible!

Honest Tea and The Arbor Day Foundation are on a mission to plant a lot more trees all over the county—50,000 to be exact! This month, they’ve launched their “Be an Honest Kid” campaign, which gets the little ones involved in the devastating issue of deforestation. Through the Honest Kids website, families can learn more about the importance of trees, and choose to plant a tree in a community that has lost trees due to natural disasters and drought! How cool is that?

Please support this very important campaign by spreading the word to your ring bearers, flower girls and other little tree savers! You can even honor their efforts by presenting them a little tree as a thank-you gift at your wedding. They will feel super important for showing love to the earth, and so will you!
