Earth Day is this week, and we’re excited to share the love with you! Our blog this week will be dedicated to all kinds of new eco-goodness, and what better place to start than your closet?

In honor of Earth Day, there are so many cool happenings out there to celebrate! If you are in the San Francisco area, the teams over at Locally Grown Weddings and the Sea Scavenger Conservancy are throwing a party at the shoreline, and they’d love to see you there too. Join the group on April 14th for a day of fun in the sun and cleanup of ocean plastic pollution. Grab the girls (and guys too) and head on down!

Earth Day - Mini Mag Preview
We were hoping to post the Spring Mini Mag in time for Earth Day today. Might still happen. However - our 3 platforms for the magazine are all run through Amazon Web Services. And of course, that crashed yesterday and 2 elements for our platforms are still not up and running. As soon as Amazon fixes their problems - we will post the mini mag.

Green…in whatever color
Green can be the color red…
Thought I would use today’s post to do a little profile of a few of the photographers that really made this magazine a reality!
Andrea Jacobson of The Observatory took the photo above and a bunch of the other photos you have seen floatin’ around on the blog for the mag. She is a GREEN RAWK STAR! She also, by the way, took the photo of the cover of the magazine! Yowza she is hot hot hot! You will see her name pasted all over the magazine. We heart you Andrea!
Tom Van Veen of Documentary Associates took some of the photos you will see in the countdown along the way to the magazine. He also has an amazing ethereal editorial spread - that I can’t really reveal…but it is gorgeous! He also, by the way, is one of the loves of my life - my big brother!!!! (GREEN RAWK STAR) Seriously, he has his own band! Check it out: Boxcar Collision.
Jennifer Domenick of Love Life Images was in charge of two beautiful spreads in the magazine (and has some photos floatin’ around on the blog as well). Ugh - I can’t wait for everyone to see them! She took the photos at my wedding here in the States (Tom took the ones of our wedding in the DR). She is one of my dearest friends. WE LOVE YOU JENNIFER!
