Eco-Candy Shop
An edible favor is always a hit with wedding guests! In keeping with your {green} theme, your favors should be sweet and eco-friendly!
Chocolatiers Curase and Cioccolada are great resources for organic, fair-trade sweets. One of our fave sites, Etsy, is the place to find locally-made treats.
Keep your favors eco-sweet from the inside out by packaging them in pretty recycled boxes or bags!

Great things come in small packages!
Some of the best gifts come in tiny packages and boxes. Decadent chocolates, herbal teas, engagement
rings…
Kids don’t exactly come in packages, but they are indeed small (at least for awhile!) and for those of us who are fortunate enough to have
them in our lives, they are certainly gifts. If you have children attending your wedding, creating a gift just forthem is a super cool way to make them feel special AND to provide a little distraction. We said they were special, but that doesn’t mean always quiet!
Our fave eco-kid expert Stephanie Frazier Grimm of Couture Parties returns in this issue with creative and simple DIY projects for yourlittle guests that will hold their attention while you say “I do” and during the reception while Mommy and Daddy get in a few spins on the dance floor!
Grab your box of craft supplies (or run to your local arts store) and let’s get creative!

Favorite Favors
Favors are a sweet way to say “thank you” to all the loved ones who travel from near and far to celebrate your wedding. With that in mind, it’s easy to get creative…and eco-friendly.
After a long night of dancing, edible gifts are always a big hit and thoughtful, useful mementos almost never get left behind. Who wouldn’t want a sweet mug for their morning coffee or yummy jam to spread on toast? Whatever you choose, use your heart and think green… guests will be touched and the environment will be grateful!

Green Girl Garden Party
Looking for inspiration for your bridal shower or bridesmaids luncheon? Savoy the Socialite submitted these fun images to help! This Green Girl Garden Party is full of fun items like recycled soda bottles, vases and place cards stands from previous events.
Their flower decor was comprised of plants that can be replanted in your yard or placed right on your desk at work!
They also used foods from a local grocery store where they cater locally grown products and homemade recipes.
