Colorful Bohemian Style
Eco-Beautiful real weddings, elopements, style shoots…we love them all! But today, we’ll pick one—a stylized shoot from Kansas City, Missouri! Photographer Erin Leigh Studio created a colorful, bohemian-inspired wedding vision on the rooftop of the Terrace on Grand. Really beautiful, the shoot incorporated many natural, handmade and vintage elements. Handcrafted jewelry, a vintage sari, wood furnishings, an eco silk and hemp dress…such an eclectic mix of eco-style!

Real Wedding: Adrienne + Rodger
It’s a fall Friday, so an Eco-Beautiful wedding in the woods is a great way to start the day!
As this couple approaches their one year anniversary this month, we thought it would be a great fall wedding to share. Adrienne and Rodger really embraced a natural and rustic theme for their wedding. Truly a conscious couple, their day was so reflective of what was meaningful to them. Just a few of the details…
In preparation for the ceremony, the groom crafted the wood dining tables for the reception by hand. As if that’s not awesome enough, Rodger also built a bread oven, which he used to bake fresh bread for the reception…on the morning of the wedding. Incredible!
The bride opted to start her day with a relaxing yoga session with her bridal party….
The intimate ceremony took place in a woody enclave, and the reception was topped off with paella, prepared by a local chef and served family style.
This was such an authentic and personal day for Adrienne and Rodger, and we thank them for sharing with us! Many Eco-Beautiful Wedding (and anniversary) wishes to the two of you!

Leanne + Will’s Wedding at the Park
Having a beautiful wedding outdoors while keeping the community and the environment on their minds was the goal of Leanne + Will’s wedding! Their wedding was truly a community effort!
The wedding took place at Prince William Forest Park in VA at a council ring!!
What a gorgeous day!!
They opted for local bbq and apple pies for their reception and biodegradable flatware, plates and cups!!!
They borrowed much of the decor from friends and family and filled in with items from a thrift store! Just an amazing Eco-Beautiful Day!
