Lavender Boutique Style

Today we have a special photoshoot submitted to us by FishHawk Weddings. What makes this design so unique is that the flowers were reused from a bridal show that they had the day before the shoot!

They created this beautiful ceremony and reception landscape at Tampa Bay Watch. Tampa Bay Watch is all about protecting and restoring the marine and wetland environments of Tampa Bay.

Just Gorgeous!!! Tell us how you have found ways to reuse decor! Bravo to these vendors for using their noggin as bridal shows really do produce a lot of wedding decor which just goes to waste!

Ashley + Noah’s Rustic Charm Wedding

Rustic Charm Wedding in Washington

We love this charming wedding straight from Tacoma, Washington from talented photographer Aly Medina from La Luz Photography. This beautiful rustic DIY wedding was held at the amazing Chambers Creek Environmental Services Building!

The bride and her bridesmaids made their own centerpieces, bouquets and boutonnieres from dahlias from The Dahlia Barn (by the way - Washington and Oregon have the best eco-friendly pesticide-free dahlias in the world due to its perfect climate for them!)

Ashley handmade the bunting used in the ceremony and on the pie bar (!!) table (see below)!

The bride also handmade the burlap napkin rings, burlap table runners and wooden place cards!

Eco-friendly wedding complete with a pie bar

Instead of a wedding cake, they had a pie bar! YUM!!!

A huge congrats to Ashley and Noah for an Eco-Beautiful Wedding Day!

Stay tuned next week for more giveaways and fun eco details!

Lauren + Mason’s Eco-Hawaiian Wedding

We love this colorful Kauai, Hawaii wedding submission from Joanna Tano Photography. The bride and the groom used everything locally and the wedding was at a private residence.

O my goodness how we love how the flower girls got to just sit during the ceremony and all of the girls got to where dresses they can wear again!

An amazing array of eco-beautiful options with plants as favors, biodegradable plates and utensils and local tropical plants and flowers as decor!

Congrats to Lauren + Mason!

Pretty in Purple

Purple has symbolized royalty since antiquity, when the color was so expensive it was only worn by nobility and the élites. Today, of course, you don’t need an HRH before your name in order to afford a pretty shade of plum.

We don’t know if it’s because there actually is a royal wedding just around the corner or just a mutual en masse love for violet hues, but we’ve been seeing lots of purple weddings. Either way, we’re glad to see lovely amethyst shades incorporated in such eco-fabulous ways!
