Real Wedding: Margaux + Chad
Since it’s the end of the week, why not spend the afternoon with a little more Eco-Beautiful Wedding inspiration? LA’s Smog Shoppe was the eco-swanky venue for Margaux and Chad’s wedding, and the couple kept their day as green as possible with a solar-powered venue, second-hand décor and organic catering. Lovely!

Real Wedding: Candace + Troy
Today’s very Eco-Beautiful Wedding took place in Utah and we must say, it soooo put us in the mood for the warmth of the sun! Candace and Troy celebrated their day at the Big Cottonwood Canyon, where they enjoy the slopes together in the winter. This location came alive for these snowbunnies last June and with some green details, the mountains became the ideal setting for such a beautiful wedding. This clearly crafty bride made her own bouquet, the floral arrangements and located the “love” branches in Hawaii to create some DIY décor. Her wedding ring is actually a family heirloom, the couple served home-brewed beer in reusable bottles and donated their leftover food to local firefighters. All creative and conscious ways to go green!

Real Wedding: Crystal + Dan
Playa Tamarindo, Costa Rica was the setting for Crystal and Dan’s intimate and naturally beautiful wedding day. They celebrated with family, friends and their baby boy Beckett, creating an event that was creative, personal and special-everything a wedding day should be. Some of the eco-details of their day included locally-made teak benches for the beach ceremony, an aisle lined with driftwood posts and salvaged beach glass bottles and Crystal’s fresh bridal bouquet that was accented with mini kumquat fruit. Another eco touch dotted the reception guest tabled with mason jars and bottles, and guests were thanked by the couple with fun monogrammed bags that can be reused over and over!
Many Eco-Beautiful Wedding wishes to Crystal and Dan!

Real Wedding: Megan + Will
Happy Friday! We’re trudging through the cold and snow in the Northeast, so how about some sunshine? Our couples on the West Coast never fail us with weddings that are full of fun and sun, and today’s Eco- Beautiful Real Wedding is just that. As do many of our featured eco couples, Megan and Will enlisted the help of family to craft their special day. Their Pasadena wedding and reception featured flowers, cake, and even music lovingly provided by family. Megan and Will were actually married at the same venue where Will’s parents were married! What a touch!

Real Wedding: Kaitlyn + Tom
When a sustainability consultant bride and a groom studying forestry engineering decided to get married, an Eco-Beautiful Wedding is bound to follow!
Kaitlyn and Tom’s wedding day was the first powered by Bullfrog, a Canadian green energy supplier. The couple opted to incorporate lots of eco details into their day, including a hemp and eco-silk dress for the bride, wedding bands made from recycled gold (from their families) and a registry of locally-produced gifts. Love it!
Many Eco-Beautiful Wedding Wishes to Kaitlyn and Tom!
