The Not So LBD
Last season, the black gown made quite a few appearances on bridal fashion runways. While the new collections we’ve seen seem to be focused on the more classic whites and ivorys, we have to admit that the boldness of the black gown was hot!
The black gowns created by bridal designers such as Vera Wang, Ines Di Santo, and Romona Keveza give the alternative bride the best of both worlds—classic designs and silhouettes but a color that is undeniably unique. So edgy, especially for the fall and winter bride.
If you opt for a not so little black dress for your Eco-Beautiful wedding day, we’d love to see!

Bridal Fashion Week: The Anne Barge Spring 2013 Collection
We’re continuing our Bridal Fashion Week recap with some shots from the Anne Barge runway show! Thanks to our Editor-in-Chief’s style cam, we can share a few of the gorgeous gowns from the Spring 2013 collection. Anne Barge is a veteran designer, so trust that when it comes to creating a glam bridal vision, her gowns hit the mark. While Anne Barge gowns are worn by brides all over the globe, her company is based in Atlanta, Georgia and the gowns are made in Canada.
A blend of romantic and classic, this collection gave us texture, classic silhouettes, and even some art deco detail. And that veil! Loved it!
Stay tuned-we’ll be back with more from Bridal Fashion Week!

Bridal Style: Amsale
Amsale is legendary in the world of bridal gowns, and her collections are always full of bridal loveliness. This gown, from the Blue Label Collection, has the makings of a bride’s dream. The organza and the sweetheart neckline create that dreamy princess effect, and we love the ruching of the bodice and the bow. The flower details on the skirt are handmade! How could you not float down an aisle in this?
Simply beautiful!
