Real Wedding Rewind: Eva + Trevor
Eva and Trevor held their eco-friendly wedding and reception in New Hampshire at a tree farm. The naturally-beautiful setting (complete with a lovely pond) didn’t need much décor, so the couple accented the ceremony and reception with lush florals and a few vintage items, including family portraits.
The bride chose to wear her grandmother’s wedding dress for their traditional Jewish ceremony, and the couple added to the wedding’s vintage flair with assorted plates and napkins borrowed from each of their families.
Eva is also a professional cake designer (obviously an amazingly talented one!) and she opted to design the wedding cake for their day.
Many Eco-Beautiful Wedding wishes to Eva and Trevor!

Burlap Inspiration
Burlap often gets a bad “wrap” (pun intended) as a rough, frumpy fabric that has no place at an elegant wedding affair. But, it can actually be lovely when used the right way. Burlap is neutral enough to complement almost any color palette, and it so versatile, that it can be used any and everywhere. Combine burlap with some vintage lace, and accent centerpieces, favors and boutonnières too.

Sparkle and Shine
The holiday season offers lots of inspiration for wedding elements that sparkle and shine. Linens, accessories, cakes, your wedding day attire—almost every aspect of your day can use a touch here and there. You also don’t have to choose between silver and gold accents; a mix of the two is beautiful for winter and really festive too.

Gardenias!
What a gorgeous flower that gardenia is! Gardenias are in season from May through July (which is a bonus for reducing your wedding’s carbon footprint, depending on where you are) and surely to make an appearance at a number of summer weddings. Since gardenias are such a robust flower, they can do it all- bouquets, boutonnières, in the hair, you name it. The gardenia is beautiful all by her lonesome, or certainly mixed in with a few fresh floral friends!
