A Fall Style Shoot

Inspired by the fall air and a vintage flair, photographer Erin Leigh sought to help eco brides and grooms visualize a wedding day crafted from recycled and re-purposed materials, many of which can be found in their own homes.

A vegetable garden theme is played out in the floral design and escort cards. All of the details used in the shoot—including the décor, signage, and the bride’s fascinator were all handmade. Even the location was all about the eco! The Ecology Center in San Juan Capistrano, California, a non-profit, educational center focused on providing the community with practical, environmental solutions for the home.

More Kendall + John!

As promised on Friday, we have a few more gorgeous details from Kendall + John’s Charleston wedding! Their wedding color palette of eggplant, khaki and mustard provided the backdrop for a day rich with family treasures— a collection of suitcases that belonged to the bride’s grandmother, photos and cotton from the groom’s family farm that was used for centerpieces. So many vintage and eco elements—we love it!

Real Wedding: Kendall + John

Kendall and John married under the oaks in South Carolina last fall, on the riverbank at high tide. Rich fall colors, figs and eggplant from a local Charleston farm, along with twigs and woodland elements from the venue property gave the wedding a natural and organic feel. Looks like they had a ball too!

Departing through Clemson and Alabama colored streamers, the couple rode a 4 wheeler off into the moonlight and fireworks!

While we gave you a glimpse here, there are so many gorgeous details to this wedding that are too good not to share. So, we’re going to do just that on Monday!
