Something Blue for the Groom

something blue groom eco friendly green weddings traditions fashion

The tradition of something blue doesn’t have to be just for the bride—grooms can get in on the fun too.

A groom can bring a bit of blue into his aisle style with his suit, tie, socks or boutonniere. Or he can be stylish, yet more subtle with a vintage blue handkerchief or handmade silk pocket square.

Blue Monday

Blue Mondays are not a bad at all when filled with lots of Eco-Beautiful!

If blue is included in your wedding color palette or you just need that blue something, be inspired by this collection of blues.

A bold bride can don a blue gown from one of our fave American designers, or a lovely blue shoe beneath your wintry white gown will do the trick too.

Include your groom in the fun too with a blue tie, and add something blue into your décor with your fresh florals or vintage furniture rentals.

When it comes to blues, the sky’s the limit!

Aqua, Blue and a little Teal Too!

Shades of blue and green make for a lovely addition to your summer wedding palette! If you are considering these colors, aqua, pale blue and teal are great shades to start with. For a warm-weather wedding, all of these options would pair well with yellow, pink, and one our faves—coral. Consider a touch of lime green, and even mix the shades together!

Honor the tradition of “something blue” in a non-traditional and eco way—maybe a handmade fascinator for your hair or an antique getaway car. Have a little fun with an unexpected colored cake or bright chairs as a part of your festive décor!
