Real Weddings: Laura + Bjorn
How adorable are these two?
Laura + Bjorn are an Earth-outdoor-canoe-adventure lovin’ duo who celebrated their first anniversary a few weeks ago! The two met at a youth camp where they were both working for the summer and, years later, they opted to host their wedding there. All of the decor was made from refurbished, recycled goods. Love it!
Many Eco-Beautiful Anniversary wishes to Laura + Bjorn!

Real Wedding: Laura + Ian
Held at a private home on Maryland’s shore, Laura and Ian kept their Eco-Beautiful wedding sweet and green.
We love that they used chalkboards for menu, table numbers, and even the ceremony program. Yay for less paper! For this outdoor summer wedding, Laura and Ian graciously created a “cooling station” complete with mini-fans and parasols to help guests beat the heat.
Another cute eco detail was the mason jars in lieu of glasses at the reception-complete with guests’ names and instructions to reuse their jar all night!
Laura and Ian are actually celebrating their one year anniversary in a few days, so many Eco-Beautiful Wedding and Anniversary wishes to them!

Sweet Summer Treats
Summer is officially rolling in this week, so what better way to celebrate than with frozen goodness!
Summer weddings are perfect for frozen sweet treats to start or end the night. Popsicles made from fresh fruit juices or edible flowers go great with cocktails! Or how about a fruit sorbet in your wedding colors? An old-fashioned ice cream cone would do the trick too, especially with locally-made ice cream and hand rolled cones!
