New York Fashion Week: Lela Rose
American designer Lela Rose added a bit of bridal to her Fall 2014 Ready-to-Wear collection, with ivory and blush tones, full skirts and beautiful embroidery. While the emphasis of this collection is day and evening looks, we could totally see these dresses on the aisle (or at receptions) in the upcoming seasons.
We can’t wait to see what Lela’s next bridal collection brings! In the meantime, click here for a look at the current one. Which look is your fave?

New York Fashion Week: Monique Lhuillier
Few designers do gown glamour like Monique Lhuillier, and as expected with her Fall 2014 Ready to Wear collection, she did it well. The collection hit the runway at last week’s Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, and offered a great blend of playful and sophistication.
Lhuillier described the collection as bold and dramatic, and although the featured gowns were designed for the red carpet, we can envision the looks for the bold bride, too.
Would you dare?

New 2014 Collection from Lea-Ann Belter
Canadian Bridal Designer Lea-Ann Belter recently debuted a new bridal collection just in time for the 2014 bride. Staying true to her simple, elegant and sophisticated approach to design, the collection is very classic, with hints of understated detail. Each gown is entirely reverse–stitched and fully lined in silk, and some of the collection features fabrics such as silk brocades and softly-colored dupioni silks designed by Lea-Ann.
If you’re in the Toronto area, you can twirl in the lovely new collection at Le-Ann’s flagship boutique, or find them in select bridal boutiques throughout the US and Europe.
