A Wedding in the Woods

We have a lovely styled shoot to share today from Huffman Weddings!

The eco-inspired shoot came together in Colorado and it’s just beautiful. The photographer and event designer worked with all local vendors (like Bella Moon Cakery-yum!), and the pottery and wood tables are handcrafted.

The woods created the perfect backdrop for this lush palette of greens and purples, which really pops against the natural elements. We love the succulents in the centerpieces—so gorgeous!

Real Wedding: Nina & Sergey

Real Wedding Nina Sergey Outdoor Woods Forest Eco Friendly Weddings Green Weddings Eco Beautiful Weddings Magazine

Avid hikers Nina and Sergey chose the mountains of Santa Cruz for their forest-themed wedding this summer. The décor elements included only natural materials—envelope-free invitations printed on eco paper, bamboo stands for the sweets, birch trunks etched with the locations of the couple’s favorite US hiking spots (reception table names!) moss and dried lavender.

Their vegetarian menu incorporated lots of local ingredients too!

When Nadia and Ernest envisioned their wedding day this summer, they decided it just had to be one thing—perfect. So what did perfection look like to them? An elopement to the mountains of Sedona, Arizona with only their newborn baby, officiant, videographer and photographer.
