Eco-Candy Shop
An edible favor is always a hit with wedding guests! In keeping with your {green} theme, your favors should be sweet and eco-friendly!
Chocolatiers Curase and Cioccolada are great resources for organic, fair-trade sweets. One of our fave sites, Etsy, is the place to find locally-made treats.
Keep your favors eco-sweet from the inside out by packaging them in pretty recycled boxes or bags!

Beach Fun!
Warmth of the sun….Sand between your toes….Cool ocean breezes…Eco-Beautiful beach weddings!
We love the idea of fun weddings on the beach- the flip flops, food (homemade taffy, anyone?) and of course family and friends.
So, whether you are headed to the beach to get hitched or planning to bring a little beach to you, just have fun!
And don’t forget the sunscreen!

The Sweetest Thing
A couple’s first dance…the toss of the bouquet…and of course, the cutting of the cake! All time-honored traditions of the reception celebration.
In recent years, the wedding cake has become the pièce de résistance of the reception, a décor element and something guests are guaranteed to look forward to. The beautiful thing about cakes is that they can be inspired by almost anything-color palettes, places, pups-really anything you can imagine!
Some of the most gorgeous couture confections have been inspired by gowns themselves- featuring frilly detailing, jewels, and floral accents that well…take the cake!
A few tastings…

He Wears It Well!
From casual chic to ultra formal to anything in between, grooms have style options! Wedding wear can and should be a reflection of a green groom’s personal style. The key for wedding day attire is to be comfortable, fashionable and of course, eco- friendly!
A custom suit from a local tailor is a great way to keep the groom in eco-friendly style. European designer Rawganique offers suits options made from organic euro hemp, as does Conscious Couture, whose suits for grooms are made from hemp silk!
If your groom is a vintage kinda guy, British clothier Savvy Row specializes in men’s vintage couture.
Eco-friendly designers such as Solosso and Blank Label specialize in green groom’s style, offering custom shirts made from natural fabrics such as Egyptian cotton. They prove that bespoke doesn’t have to break the budget!
For a little bit of color and fun, add an upcycled bow tie from Xoelle found on Etsy!
Also, remember that tradition is not just for brides- grooms can use something borrowed too. A tie, pocket square or a newly-tailored suit jacket borrowed from a good friend or family member is such a special way to go green!
We adore borrowing too, so for inspiration for our green grooms, we thought we’d borrow some pics of some stylish green grooms from past issues…
