By saving energy (and money)! I’m thankful for friendly neighbors who can check on my house/pets/plants while I’m gone, saving me from keeping lots of lights and the heater on full blast.
We’re going to Thailand for our honeymoon, and we will be taking public transportation between all towns & cities, backpacking, and possibly doing an apartment swap.
Our honeymoon will be a staycation! We’ll be travelling for the wedding itself (to Seattle from Boston), so we want to minimize the miles that we travel. It will be a great opportunity to get to know our adopted hometown better.
we are going on a cruise. while on vacation I plan to only use organic cream sunscreen. the bottles are also made of recycled plastic and can be recycled once empty.
We are going to the Bahamas,instead of staying at hotels we are swapping homes, and we can monitor the energy usage ourselves….:)

Our honeymoon will be spent at home, with our family who has traveled a loooong way to see us!
We are going to Costa Rica for our honeymoon. The resort is green with recycling, water use and whatnot. We plan on eating as much local food as possible and supporting local artisans with whatever we buy.
We are going to Argentina on our honeymoon and we can’t wait! To be green, when we go wine tasting in Mendoza, we are going to ride bikes to the vineyards. It’ll be a great way to really take in the scenery and be green!
Gorgeous robe! We haven’t decided on our honeymoon yet. We are traveling for the wedding so we will probably stay there to go green
We’ve arranged for a shuttle for our guests to help put everyone in one car and be green (and save green$)
We haven’t decided, but we may go green by foregoing the honeymoon altogether!
We haven’t decided on the honeymoon destination yet but I’d bring that robe with me no matter where we go! We’re using all BPA free dishes and planting a tree the day of the wedding.
No honeymoon yet but I think we will go green by cutting back on the the amount of laundry we will need to do when we get home. I’ll only need to pack the lovely robe.
My husband and I saved for 2 years to go on our honeymoon to Spain! We are packing lite! I great way to be green, with less weight in our luggage. We will be exploring local foods, cultures and economies and taking public transit.
And most importantly snuggling for warmth
Does showering together to save water count? When we travel we request that the sheets and towels don’t get changed to save water.
