A friend made me a necklace using up cycled pieces of plastic and I always get compliments on it! You’d never guess she made it from embroidery thread and plastic remnants!
I love the watches from http://we-wood.us/. They’re made of wood in Florence, and for every purchase they plant a tree. A really well-made watch and my favorite conversation starter!
My mom was an antique jewelry dealer, and I was fortunate to have inherited her jewelry after she passed away…it doesn’t get more green than antiques (go reuse!!! no need for expenditure of energy producing new jewelry…and yes, I am wearing something of hers on my wedding day).

My favourite green item would have to be my bright green trolley that I use to fill with organic and vegetarian groceries. No car (save the planet and walk if you can!) and always use reusable and cloth bags! Great giveaway, by the way. LOVE!!
One of my favorite green accessory is taking my old clothes and making something new with it. For instance, hair accessories or a new outfit for the season. REUSE, REDUCE, and RECYCLE
I like to reconstruct tshirts, it’s like shopping in my own closet! I also made a cute sling sack this summer using a former curtain! I’m all about re-using!
I keep it green in my wedding business by transforming old wooden cigar boxes into gorgeous custom Love Letter Boxes for use in some of my wedding ceremonies. I resurface them with scraps of fabric and or paper. Brides love them and so do I because they are beautiful and earth friendly and become beautiful accessories in their home environments to remind them of their big day.
I have a gorgeous bamboo-bead necklace a friend bought me at a market during a backpacking trip through Asia… it’s so unique and fun!
