Holding on to Summer

It seems like just yesterday we were planning a season full of trips to the beach and sunny wedding fetes. Now, at the end of August, here at Eco-Beautiful we’re doing everything we can to hold on to another golden summer.

So, we thought about what makes this always-goes-by-too-fast season so great: abundant yummy fruit, bonfires, bright dresses, fireworks, the ocean, playing outdoors and more.

The result was an inspiration board that will help carry us through the winter, for sure!

Eco-Friendly Beach Wedding with Fantasy Floral Designs

Fantasy Floral Designs designer Amanda Heer’s daughter was married on a remote island in the Cayos Cochinos Islands. They chartered a boat from Ray Anthony Extreme Charters to the small and remote island of Cacahuete for a very small wedding.

Breathtaking is all we have to say!!

The simple but effective decor was all eco-friendly and reused! And of course - the Pièce de résistance:

Amanda made such a beautiful bouquet for her daughter with shells and vintage brooch jewelry. Just beautiful!!!

Congrats to Cameron & Jeff!

Shevy + Mike’s Eco-Beachy Wedding

Mike and Shevy’s love story gave way to a wonderfully beautiful and simple wedding set in Malibu! Their love for music and the beach brought them together - which led to their wonderful and eco-friendly wedding day. We just love how their love shines brightly through these beautiful photos submitted to us by Marisa Leigh.

I just love this gorgeous bridal bouquet comprised of sunflowers, hyacinths and lilacs!

Loving this beautiful ceremony decor - simple, chic and fun using natural elements.

Shevy bought her dress several years before the wedding and it worked perfectly for her wedding day! Her bridesmaids got the cutest set of sundresses and wore cowboy boots as a nod to Chevy’s Nashville roots! The guys look darn comfortable in their simple khaki and button-up shirts for a fresh and handsome look that can be worn again and again!

While these photos speak for themselves with the special look that Mike gives to Shevy - we cannot get over how gorgeous Shevy’s foot jewelry is! So sexy and something she can definitely wear over and over again!!

“We wanted it to be a simple celebration of love and commitment while highlighting the natural backdrop of our love story. The beach sunset at El Matador definitely provided light that was beyond fantastical and remains a place we love to go whenever we feel the need to revisit the warmth of that day.” - Shevy

Mike is in a band and Chevy is a singer/songwriter - so it made perfect sense that they sing and play music together at their own wedding!

Self-proclaimed as the inventors of a milkshake wedding “cake” - Mike and Shevy opted to have a tower of milkshakes from Jack in the Box!

Congratulations to Mike and Shevy on a beautiful, low-impact wedding with tons of help from friends and family!
