Claire Pettibone Bridal Recap

Claire Pettibone Fall 2011 Collection Strapless and Backless gown with shrug

My absolute favorite dress designer of all time is Claire Pettibone. I know this is saying a lot - but it’s true. I am just enamored with her style and how feminine her gowns are without being over the top. She also manufactures all of her gowns in the US. We took a look at 5 of her new gowns at market this week. Above is a strapless and backless gown that comes with an optional shrug. So pretty, delicate and gorgeous with the art deco glam on the waistline!

Claire Pettibone Sleeveless Gown Feminine

Perfect for the petite bride out there - this gown has the uber-feminine style that we are used to with Claire’s delicate details. The straps are made with beautiful lace along with that gorgeous and subtle fabric flower found on the front and back of the dress.

When I saw this dress I nearly gasped. The gorgeous gown looked like it stepped out of the past and got an update from Claire. I just love the art deco stone detailing along the backside of the gown. Again, super feminine and ethereal all wrapped into loveliness!

Claire Pettibone Simple and traditional gown

Just elegant and lovely! This dress is perfect for any evening wedding. There is a touch of traditional style with Claire’s amazing flair with the cap sleeves and gorgeous lace trimmed detachable train. My favorite from this collection for sure!

Bridal Market Recap: Claire Pettibone Fall 2010 Collection

Courtesy of Foxy Social Media

Claire Pettibone‘s new Fall 2010 Collection, ‘Tea for Two’ emitted a sweet, delicate femininity reminiscent of Shakespearean romance. As one of only a handful of eco-friendly designers showing her collection, I had the pleasure of taking a first look during Bridal Market in New York City last week.

A fusion of vintage flair meets ’A Midsummer Night’s Dream’, every single gown used natural fabrics and incorporated lace and embroidery detailing. Most gowns had layers of natural cotton voile. What were the top picks? We oohed and aahed over the dresses that had Claire Pettibone’s signature design- sheer back gowns with embroidery details.

So if you are an eco-fashionista looking for that gown that will have you floating down the aisle, look for this collection in the fall! Once again Claire Pettibone’s collection successfully melded eco-friendly fabrics with heavenly style at an affordable price point.
