Go Behind the Scenes of our Summer 2011 Issue

 One of our fave local photographers, Marta Locklear, has done it…yet again!

On a perfect spring day that seemed created just for us, Marta shot a fabulous cover and editorial for our Summer 2011 issue. Whimsical Carnival was the theme of the day as we sought to capture the ease of summer and the endless possibilities for the fun, eco-beautiful bride.

Cover Photo Shoot

We had such a tough time figuring out which photos to showcase in our cover photo shoot because Marta Locklear is a genius!  She does weddings, babies, portraits and fashion….and she does them all WELL!

Our Editor-in-Chief Katie Martin could not resist the National Capital Trolley Museum for this shoot.  Just way to good to be true!
