We had such a tough time figuring out which photos to showcase in our cover photo shoot because Marta Locklear is a genius! She does weddings, babies, portraits and fashion….and she does them all WELL!
Our Editor-in-Chief Katie Martin could not resist the National Capital Trolley Museum for this shoot. Just way to good to be true!

EMMA is Live!
We were so thrilled to see Stephanie of The Punk Rock Bride gown collection at Bridal Market this past weekend! She has launched her new online gown collection for the budget-conscious bride called Emma!!!
While the gowns are all under $1,000 - you won’t be skimping on style! Stephanie has done an amazing job of keeping the same types of fabric from her couture line but keeping the dresses simple for online shoppers - the process is as easy as pie too!
Why is this eco? Well - all of her gowns are made and manufactured right here in the States - in fact right here in Washington, DC! It does not get more local than that for us!
Bravo Stephanie - we are so excited about this collection!

Eco-Friendly Bridal Gowns!
In honor of this weekend’s Bridal Market in New York, and since we never, ever get tired of wedding gowns, we couldn’t resist sharing some of our favorite eco-marvelous bridal dresses from designers we can’t wait to see!
When choosing your eco-friendly bridal gown, remember that the green is not in the fabric alone. Think local! Wedding gowns manufactured in the States and Canada have less distance to travel. If you’re lucky enough to live near a bridal designer whose style you love, stop by and have a look!
Between these gowns and what you find in your neighborhood, you’re sure to find a wedding gown that is fabulously green.
